A multi-day visit was made to the Italian aircraft carrier Giuseppe Garibaldi, during a cruise in the Mediterranean. Having a squadron of AV-8B Harrier II+ aircraft and a detachment of SH-3 Sea King helicopters boarded during the exercise, we were given a nice insight in the carrier's operations.
